Police say a man was shot on the northbound Bee-Line 4 bus around 5 p.m. Friday near South Broadway and Ludlow.
News 12 was told there was one victim, an 18-year-old male who was shot in the leg.
Police say that the bus driver had just picked up a group of four to six people. Shortly after, he heard multiple gunshots.
The driver immediately stopped and let out the 30 or so passengers.
The driver reportedly believes that the group may have been
responsible.
The 18-year-old victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still unclear.
Police stress that there is no danger to the community, but they are actively looking for the suspect.
