The Pleasantville community honored the varsity girls soccer team who won the state title last week.

Local leaders and school officials honored the 25 girls after the championship game last weekend.

The girls came up from behind to win in the last two seconds of the game.

The community came out in the rain Sunday to support the team with a parade through Downtown Pleasantville, before the full ceremony in the Pleasantville High School gym.

This is the school's first girls national championship.
