Playland postpones opening due to COVID-19 pandemic
Playland is postponing its opening day in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a Facebook post Friday, the park in Rye said it would announce plans for the season "as soon as possible." But it's not clear when that will happen.
It comes as nonessential gatherings and work remain banned as part of efforts to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus across New York.
