A plan to move a mobile crane was canceled Friday as construction continues on the Tappan Zee Bridge.

Officials say they planned on shutting down four lanes on the New York State Thruway. However, traffic continued to move along smoothly Friday morning.

The Bridge Project team is also asking the public for their input on what they call the “shared use path” along the new Tappan Zee Bridge. The path is intended to have bicycle and pedestrian paths, six overlooking resting points and parking.

Community members can give their opinion on the path by visiting the Bridge Project team’s website until Sunday.
