A Rockland County Pizza Hut is denying allegations it delivered a urine-covered pizza to a resident.
A West Haverstraw Pizza Hut customer posted a complaint Sunday on the North Rockland Community Facebook page that claimed his pizza had urine on it.
A Pizza Hut spokesperson now says the customer did not have cash to pay for the pizza when the employee delivered it. According to the spokesperson, the employee left the pizza with the customer with an understanding that he would pay for it over the phone with a credit card.
When the employee called the customer back from the restaurant, the customer said he wouldn't give his credit card number over the phone.
News 12 and Pizza Hut tried reaching out to the customer, but haven't heard back from him.
The Rockland County Department of Health is investigating.
