A Pinebush man received a two-year sentence Friday for fatally shooting a dog.
Officials say 44-year-old Eric Napoli tied his housemate's huskie to a tree before shooting her to death with a shotgun in Ulster County last year.
Napoli reportedly waited for the owner to come home before executing the dog.
The two-year term was the maximum sentence Napoli could receive for animal cruelty in Ulster County.
