Pine Bush school district superintendent dies suddenly after medical emergency
The superintendent of the Pine Bush Central School District died suddenly Thursday.
Tim Mains was 73 years old.
According to the Wallkill police chief, they received a call Thursday morning from a man who said he was having a medical emergency.
Police had to force their way into the home, where they found Mains who was unconscious.
They began extensive efforts to revive him but were unsuccessful.
Police Chief Robert Hertman called Mains a dedicated individual who will be missed.
Mains had served as superintendent since 2017.
