A Putnam County man died after being pinned under a forklift while working.
Authorities say 58-year-old Joseph Gaichinta, of Philipstown, died Sunday at his business, Mid-Hudson Concrete Products, located on Route 9.
Police say an employee found Gaichinta dead just before 11 a.m. Sunday.
Investigators say the jack supporting the vehicle apparently failed, sending the vehicle crashing down on top of him.
