A new study shows two
doses of the Pfizer vaccine appears to offer high protection against
combating the delta variant.
The study published in the New England Journal of Medicine says the Pfizer
vaccine is 88% effective against preventing symptomatic disease from the
strain.
Researchers did
say that one shot of the vaccine is not nearly as effective at stopping the
virus.
Moderna's, which
also uses mRNA, is said to be more effective against delta when compared to the
one-dose shot from Johnson & Johnson.
