Sarah Hodgson, a pet expert and author of the book "Puppies for Dummies," is giving News 12 viewers tips for raising pets today.
Hodgson says having a puppy during a pandemic is tons of fun, but people need to condition them for the outside world. She has advice on how people can raise a confident, family friendly dog, all while staying safe from coronavirus.
She discusses teaching good manners, including leash walking to the "four paw rule."
