Person found dead in New Rochelle apartment stairwell

New Rochelle police is investigating after a person was found dead in an apartment stairwell Thursday morning.

Officials responded to the Peter Bracey Apartments at 345 Main St. around 11 a.m. Investigators initially believe there are no signs of foul play.

The investigation is ongoing.
