The Hudson Valley continues to battle the coronavirus.
Out of more than 6,800 people tested across the Mid-Hudson
Region, 78 tested positive for coronavirus.
Here are the number of new cases in each county:
Westchester
County has an infection rate of 1% with 560 active cases. Westchester County Executive
George Latimer says COVID-19 has continued to
decline for almost four months now, but he says
people need to continue wearing masks, social distancing and sanitizing
your hands. "We are now starting the first day of fall. We have survived
the whole summertime. We have still kept a
low level of
infection."
