Peekskill raid nets five men plus drugs and guns
Police busted five men and confiscated heroin, cocaine and guns in a raid at a public housing complex in Peekskill Friday.
The arrests wrap up a four-month long investigation of drug trafficking. Police say the operation was a wholesaler for street drugs. The raid on two apartments netted about $2,000 worth of heroin, cocaine and crack. Police also recovered about $10,000 in cash and two handguns.
Police are working to identify people higher up in the supply chain. Four of the five people arrested face felony drug charges. Three of them also face charges of criminal possession of a weapon.
