Peekskill police: Man arrested in shooting of women in car; suspect sought in 2nd shooting

The Peekskill Police Department gave an update on two shootings that took place in the city.
Police say two women were injured by a man who shot into their car last Friday.
They say he fired multiple rounds, striking one victim in the abdomen and the other in both legs. He narrowly missed the driver's head
Detective Lt. Jack Galusha says a suspect has been arrested in this case.
"I am pleased to say both victims have since been released from the hospital and I'm definitely pleased to announce that we have made an apprehension in Friday evening's shooting,” he says.
A second shooting took place early Monday morning. Police say multiple shots were fired at the residence.
No injuries were reported, and there have not been any arrests yet.
