The Peekskill pastor accused of attempting to choke his wife was back in his church Sunday, preaching to dozens.
Parishioners of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church would not comment about the charges brought against Rev. Horace Sanders Jr. They would only say they fully support him.
Sanders was arrested on Father's Day in his Jefferson Valley home, which he shares with his wife Debra and his two young daughters.
The reverend was charged with attempted assault. He was arraigned in Yorktown on June 26.
