News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says the Hudson Valley will see partly sunny skies with light breeze for Friday but there is a chance of afternoon shower on Saturday.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

- After enjoying a June-like day with temperatures into the low-80s in some spots, temperatures cool down to normal levels for this time of year for Friday.

- Dry conditions will continue to be around for Friday and through most of Saturday before showers arrive late in the day.

- Sunday, Cinco De Mayo, is looking to be a gray and gloomy day with on and off light rain and cooler than average temperatures.

- Much of next week has temperatures back to being above average. Lots of low- to mid-70s can be found with rain chances popping up for the second half of the week.

- Mother’s Day is in sight on the 10-day forecast and, for now, the moms out there may have to deal with a shower chance.
