Parents who were hoping to voice their concerns about the conditions of a White Plains school and the treatment of its staff say they are outraged after a meeting that was planned for weeks was canceled.
Parents at the Lois Bronz Children's Center were told by administrators there would be a meeting Thursday night to discuss what they say are horrible school conditions.
The children's center offers child care for infants to sixth-graders.
Parents say the care had fallen short of what was promised when they signed their children up.
They say the administration is falling short in various aspects, like food and school supplies.
The parents stood outside executive director Dr. Marcia Lawrence's office, hoping she would come out to speak with them as promised.
Dr. Lawrence did not speak with the parents.
Parents dropping their children off and teachers going into work at the school Friday morning agree that management is the real problem.
Former staff wrote that they left the school as a result of poor management on Indeed.com.
