Two parents were arrested for allegedly buying and selling prescription drugs inside Benjamin Coser Elementary School during the fall dance last Thursday.
Lisa Mitchell, 32, is accused of selling Percocet inside the school bathroom to 34-year-old father Adam Ingbar.
According to the school superintendent, police were called after another parent noticed what looked like a drug deal going down.
Mitchell was charged with tampering with physical evidence and criminal sale of a controlled substance. She is being held at Sullivan County Jail.
Ingbar was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. He has been released.
Earlier this year, teachers and aides were seen on surveillance video using a staff bathroom where an empty bag of heroin was found. Six of them were under a cloud of suspicion for months until eventually drug test results came back negative.
The Sullivan County district attorney says one teacher is still flat out refusing to take a drug test.
Parents say adults should be setting a better example for children.
