Two key figures in an identity theft ring are now facing new charges.

State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman's office filed charges against Nadia Figueroa and Tyrone Lee. The pair has already pleaded guilty to identity theft in Westchester and elsewhere.

Figueroa and Lee are currently serving prison sentences for their roles in an identity theft ring that stole more than $750,000 from customer accounts at various banks in Westchester, New York City and elsewhere.

In a 50-count indictment unsealed in Orange County Court, Figueroa and Lee are accused of stealing an additional $457,000 from unsuspecting customers.

According to the indictment unsealed in court, the scheme began while Nadia Figueroa was working at a Wachovia Bank. Assistant Attorney General Tyler Reynolds said in court that once the scheme was perfected, Lee and Figueroa moved on to targets elsewhere.

Figueroa would allegedly access bank records and pass on identifying information that would be used to take money from the customers' accounts. It was the same technique Figueroa pleaded guilty to using while working for a Chase Bank in White Plains.

Figueroa and Lee are serving time for their convictions in the cases from Westchester and New York City, so no bail was set.

They are due back in court on June 11.

Another ringleader in the scheme has also pleaded guilty to the earlier charges and is also serving time in prison
