It's day nine since Tropical Storm Isaias and there are still nearly 300 customers in the dark across the Hudson Valley.
Some of the communities affected include Deer Park, Clarkstown, and Mount Kisco.
One local electrician weighed in on what could be the problem. "They just don't have enough manpower, they're supposed to be hiring every year and staying on top of this, especially during the summer months when it’s hot, says Rich Angelori, of Midway Electric.
Angelori says if you happen to see downed wires, make sure you report them. Also, keep a close eye on children and pets which can easily run off and get hurt.
