The results are in on the proposal to upgrade and expand schools in Ossining.
Voters have decided to approve the bond proposal. 1,126 voters voted in favor of it and 338 voted against it.
Voters were asked to decide on a $210 million bond proposal.
District officials said they are extremely overcrowded and desperately need this bond to pass.
The money would go toward a new middle school building, new classrooms at the high school and elementary school, plus cafeteria expansions and security upgrades.
The district also purchased a church back in 2022 that’s right next to the high school and it would like to renovate it into a potential theater and classroom for high school arts instruction.
