A 29-year-old man from Ossining, Luis Livipuma-Leon, has died in an apparent drowning incident in Connecticut.
The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon in the waters off Lighthouse Point and Penfield Reef in Fairfield.
Fairfield police received a report of two people struggling in the water. Bystanders were able to rescue one person, but Livipuma-Leon remained missing.
After a three-hour search, his body was found and brought to shore, where he was pronounced dead.
The incident is currently under investigation, and further details have not been released.
