A judge in Ossining refused to lower the $75,000 bail for a New Jersey man arrested for trying to meet a 15-year-old boy he met online.
Police say 47-year-old Ramon Tierras used the computer in his home he shares with his wife and 19-year-old son, to meet up with a boy from Ossining. The boy says Tierras abused him previously in May and helped police set up a sting when Tierras contacted him again.
Tierras is charged with sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a minor, but police say more charges could be coming. He is due back in court on June 15.
