A Rockland County organ donation advocate is now in the running for a big prize.

Roxanne Watson is a semi-finalist in the "This is Your Life Change" competition. The 50 semifinalists will be judged on their ideas to make the world a better place, their personalities and compelling life stories.

Six lucky winners will win an all-expenses paid two-week stay to an island in Fiji and receive life, business and fitness coaching and support for the idea over the next year.

Watson's idea is to create a foundation in the name of her donor called Michaels' Heart. "His name was Michael Vovil. He saved five lives when his life was over. And we want people to sign up to save lives. Because when you're done with it, there's no sense in throwing away organs when you can save people," says Watson.
