An Orange County contract worker was rushed to the hospital today after being shocked on the job.
Officials say the Orange & Rockland Utilities contract worker was working from a lift bucket in the air at a substation in Tuxedo when he suffered an 80,000-volt shock.
He is currently being treated at the Westchester County Medical Center.
Authorities have not released any information about his condition.
Officials suspect the electricity off the line caused the shock.
