An Orange County man is headed to prison for 18 years after being sentenced for child sex abuse.

Allan Bressler, a 74-year-old from Pine Bush, received his sentence yesterday following his admission to sexual acts with a child under 11 years old, according to prosecutors.

The abuse spanned five years. In addition to his prison term, Bressler will be required to register as a sex offender and will face 10 years of post-release supervision upon his release.
