The Orange County man accused of hiring a hitman to kill his neighbor will spend the rest of his life in prison, without parole.
Enoch Lowe, of Wallkill, was convicted on all counts back in May.
Prosecutors say he paid his high school friend, Damante Stansberry, $15,000 cash, plus some cannabis, to carry out the murder of Jeffery Harris in 2022.
Lowe acted as a lookout while Stansberry stabbed Harris in the neck and body inside the victim’s garage, proseuctors say.
Stansberry is set to be sentenced Friday.
