Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus administered a life-saving dose of Narcan to a man found unconscious in his car.
It happened in Blooming Grove as Neuhaus headed to a county event with his daughter. He noticed an off-duty cop and two good Samaritans trying to help.
Neuhaus says he put his combat medical certification and Narcan kit to work. The kit had been in his car for two years.
He says the man was revived after a single dose and refused further medical treatment.
