Orange County and Civil Service Employees Association reach 5-year contract agreement

The contract covers 1,600 employees and includes wage hikes ranging between 4% and 4.5% between 2024 and 2028.

Orange County and the Civil Service Employees Association, the county's largest employee union, have announced an agreement on a five-year contract.
The contract covers 1,600 employees and includes wage hikes ranging between 4% and 4.5% between 2024 and 2028.
The agreement also provides hazard retention pay for employees who worked during COVID and continue to work for the county.
Furthermore, Juneteenth will be added to the county schedule of holidays, while Election Day will be eliminated as a scheduled holiday.
