Nine convicted sex offenders who preyed on children where nabbed by Westchester and federal officials Thursday and taken off the streets for good.
Westchester?s Probation Department worked in conjunction with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on ?Operation Predator.? They were looking for men who were convicted of sex crimes involving children ages 12 to 15. The men will be brought to a federal holding cell and eventually deported.
This is the fourth time Operation Predator has been conducted in Westchester and so far 90 sex offenders have been taken off the streets.
