Authorities say one person died in a fire in Red Hook.

The victim was identified as John Boles IV. 

When crews arrived on the scene, flames were coming from the living room with heavy smoke throughout the rest of the home.

It took 25 minutes and nearly 50 firefighters to get the blaze under control.

It appears to have been accidental, but authorities are still investigating.
