Officials: 2 teens in custody, facing charges following Yonkers shooting

Both face several charges, including attempted murder, attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Two teenagers are in custody and facing several charges following a shooting in Yonkers Tuesday night.
Police responded to the area of one Schroeder Street for a report of a man who was shot around 2 p.m.
Police say they found a 21-year-old with a gunshot wound to each leg. He was transported to a hospital and is said to be in stable condition.
The 15- and 17-year-old arrested are both from Yonkers, police say. Their names are not being released due to their ages.
Both face several charges, including attempted murder, attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
