Fifteen firefighters were sent to the hospital to receive fluids and be evaluated for heat-related issues after battling a fire at a White Plains home, officials say.
They say the firefighters went to receive fluids and be evaluated for dehydration and overheating.
The call came in around 1 p.m. when a family was cooking outside in the back of the home.
Officials say the flames got away from them and the house caught fire.
No residents were injured in the fire.
