A Bronx NYPD inspector accused of sexually assaulting a female officer has pleaded not guilty to numerous charges.

Jeremy Scheublin was sued by the woman, who alleges he assaulted her inside the 46th Precinct on New Year’s Day 2025.

According to the suit, the commanding officer called her into his office, grabbed her, threw her onto a couch, tried to kiss her and attempted to remove her gun belt. The filing states she fought him off and escaped after kicking him in the groin.

Court filings also claim the NYPD was aware of the incident for more than a year and allege Scheublin retaliated against the officer, made threats and attempted to bribe her to stay quiet.

A spokesperson for the NYPD states, "We hold our police officers to the highest standards and have zero tolerance for misconduct of any kind. The NYPD conducts thorough investigations into any allegation that a member of the department failed to meet those standards — and that’s exactly what happened here."

The spokesperson also tells News 12 that NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau investigated the case and referred it to the Bronx District Attorney in January 2025.

The charges against Scheublin included attempted rape, sex abuse and assault.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 30.
