An NYPD detective from Westchester is now one of the latest members to pass away from complications related to COVID-19.          
Officials confirm 43-year-old Detective Jeffrey Scalf, of Buchanan, died Monday.
Chopper 12 was overhead today as Scalf's body was escorted from New-York Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital to Yorktown Funeral Home in Shrub Oak.
His passing along with the death of 43-year-old Detective Raymond Abear, of Queens, brings the total number of NYPD detectives lost in the pandemic to four.
Both men were married with children.
