Police say a 19-year-old man was killed after he was stabbed during a violent dispute in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx.

Authorities say Armani McDonald was found at an apartment building on Briggs Avenue around 5 p.m. Saturday with a stab wound to the neck.

Police say a dispute led to the stabbing, but it is unclear what it was about. Two knives were recovered at the scene.

McDonald was in critical condition at the hospital until he succumbed to his injuries overnight and was pronounced dead.

Residents and witnesses in the area tell News 12 violence is a consistent pattern in the neighborhood.

Authorities say a suspect is in custody and the investigation remains ongoing.
