Police seek person who stabbed 14-year-old boy on Bronx MTA bus

Officials say the 14-year-old was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and is in stable condition.

The NYPD says it is still searching for the person who stabbed a 14-year-old boy in the head on a Bx8 bus in Williamsbridge on Friday afternoon.
News 12 spoke exclusively with a man who said he was on the bus when it happened.
He said that the person responsible left the bus and casually walked down East Gun Hill Road.
Officials say the 14-year-old was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and is in stable condition.
The NYPD is asking for the public's help to find the person shown in surveillance footage from that bus. People with information are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
