Some New York City kids got a chance to fish in the Hudson River in Yonkers.
The sixth-graders from Manhattan sought their catch of the day with the help of the staff of the Beczak Environmental Education Center in Yonkers and student teachers from Sarah Lawrence College.
The kids were also taught about the creatures that swim and crawl under the water's surface.
Students said the day was exciting for them because living in the big city prevents such excursions.
