Nyack transformed from village to Halloween town for its annual parade along South Broadway. It had not been held since 2019 because of COVID.
Ghouls, ghosts and goblins galore, thousands turned out along the parade route, dressed to impress and dancing to Halloween-themed songs.
Revelers said they were excited to see the parade make its long-awaited return, adding that it could not have been any bigger or better than previous years.
For the first time this year, the pets with the most creative Halloween costumes won prizes, including a day of pampering with a brush and trim, or a creative color dye at a local pet salon.
