Nyack Restaurant week has returned for another year and is underway now through May 1 with about three dozen restaurants and nearly two dozen other retail businesses participating.
The owner, Sadik Demir, says the first night on Wednesday was a success.
"It was a full bar, full dining room, people we're waiting for a table," said Demir. "A lot of new faces. They had never been here before. It was their first time trying which is amazing."
Dolce Vita is offering a discount on the final bill.
Other establishments are doing the same or have a special prix fixe menu.
Mark Davidoff was one of the original organizers for the week-long event when it started five years ago with 16 restaurants.
Over time, he says restaurants have tracked customer increases between 10% to 50% during that week.
Adding "Visit Nyack", which promotes tourism, gets more web traffic to their site, too.
By Land & Sea, a boutique on Broadway in the village, is one small business collaborating by offering a discount when shoppers show a restaurant receipt.
News 12 spoke with owner Lindsay Owen, "I think the more that all the different groups and businesses can work together to make our village a true destination, the better!"
Here's more on what's being offered and when for Nyack Restaurant Week.
