John Jay High School was closed Friday due to a concerning note about an act of potential violence found on a school bus Thursday.
Officials reported it to the East Fishkill Police Department, Dutchess County Sheriff's Office and New York State Police.
John Jay has been investigating the incident with its Threat Assessment Team and local law enforcement since last night.
The district says any threats of potential violence directed at schools will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
