Not again! Another truck hits overpass that was struck last week

It is a scene all too familiar for Hudson Valley commuters - a truck driving illegally on a parkway has hit an overpass in Pelham.
Police say the truck hit the East Lincoln Avenue overpass on the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway around 5:30 a.m.
County police tell News 12 the 13-foot tractor-trailer was filled with 15,000 pounds of pineapples when it hit the 10-foot-high bridge.
The same overpass has been hit several times in recent years, including just last Friday, when another truck driver on the Hutchinson River Parkway smashed into the crumbling, century-old bridge.
In cases like this, drivers are usually issued several summonses, including having an over-height vehicle on the parkway.
The state is in the process of replacing the bridge, which was built in 1925. A temporary bridge is providing passage over the Hutchinson. The bridge repair project is expected to take about a year.
