Norton Ministries has partnered with the March of Dimes to recruit for a dads-and-daughters workshop at Greater Faith Temple Church.
"I Choose My Future" is the theme for this year's workshop. The eight-week program will include doctors and other professionals conducting interactive sessions for young girls.
Organizers say the presence of a father in the life of a young person is beneficial in that it can establish a sense of direction in their life.
The program starts July 19.
