A Rockland County nonprofit is giving back to underprivileged kids this holiday season.
North Rockland's Kids Closet will be giving toys to more than 200 kids Tuesday night in Stony Point. The group's annual night with Santa gives children a chance to take photos with Ol' Saint Nick and take a toy home.
The event was made possible thanks to money and toys donated by the Community Christian church and other members of the public.
"It warms your heart to know that you're bringing a smile to children's faces,” said Jo-Ann Feniger, of North Rockland's Kids Closet. “There are so many children that aren't able to open a present on Christmas day and this provides them with that opportunity."
The event is only for preregistered, eligible families in need.
