The nonprofit Guiding Eyes for the Blind held a graduation ceremony in Yorktown Heights Friday for its newest class of guide dogs.
"Ten" is just one of the graduates and is named after Eli Manning, who has been involved with the nonprofit for over 20 years.
He will be the new guide dog for president and CEO of the organization, Thomas Penek.
"Today I get to graduate with 'Ten,' my new guiding eyes dog. 'Ten' is going to help guide me not only as a guide dog but also as a running guide. 'Ten' is an athlete, and I am also looking forward to spending time with him," Penek said.
