Despite the rain Sunday, fans came out in full force to Yankee Stadium to see if Aaron Judge would make history, but it wasn't meant to be.
The Bronx Bombers took on the Baltimore Orioles for their last home game of the season, which they loss 3-1.
Tens of thousands of fans waited patiently to see if Judge would hit his 62nd home run of the season and ultimately make history.
The anticipation has been building over the last few weeks ever Judge hit his 60th homerun to tie Babe Ruth's record. When he finally hit No. 61 last week to tie the record with Roger Maris, the excitement was off the charts.
Now fans are on the edge of their seats waiting to see when Judge hits No. 62 and officially break the American League record.
While it did not happen Sunday, fans said the anticipation has only become stronger.
