The MTA is launching a new pilot program it says will speed up the morning commute.
Straphangers who use the No. 4 train will soon have access to an express train on workdays between 7:15 a.m. and 8 a.m. The express No. 4 will start at Woodlawn Avenue, make the next stop at Mosholu Parkway, travel without stops to Burnside Avenue and 149 Street, and then begin making local stops.
The express No. 4 will begin running June 8.
