New Jersey Transit is partnering with BETMGM to rename the Meadowlands Rail Line after the online sportsbook.
The three-year agreement is the first of its kind for NJ Transit. MGM Officials say the deal will keep fares affordable by bringing in revenue, while also reminding people about the Jersey City-based company.
"We look for ways to engage with customers in a slightly different manner. We think we need tactics to cut through a very crowded space. We think this is one of those opportunities as people are going to this world class venue at MetLife,” says Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer of BETMGM.
The rail line moves more than 130,000 customers a year from Secaucus Junction to MetLife Stadium.
