The NFL teamed up with the Highview Elementary School in Hartsdale all for a good cause yesterday.
Parents and students were invited to take part in the "Play 60 Challenge," which encourages children to be active for at least 60 minutes each day.
Former New York Jets running back Fred Baxter helped lead the event in which children were able to participate in a number of activities from throwing around a football to rope climbing in hopes of building good exercise habits.
One parent told News 12 the event was not only a good way to encourage kids but it also brought the community together. "It's a great event for kids. It's also a great event for parents, for all of us, to be collectively a little bit more active," says Mark Kahn.
