A widow is finally having her husband's pension payments resumed since his passing last spring - thanks to help from News 12.
Mauro Capurso passed away in April from COVID-19 at age 93.
The Yonkers man was a retired New York City civil engineer who elected to have his medical benefits and pension pass to his wife.
When he died, the benefits instantly paused.
The family managed to get the health insurance resumed but struggled with the pension.
After a nearly eight-month battle, the family turned to News 12.
